Release Date:2026-11-02

China's top trade promotion body says stable and healthy economic ties between China and the EU serve the shared interests of businesses on both sides. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, or CCPIT, says China and the EU are each other's second-largest trading partners. Both sides have also recently reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining stable and balanced trade ties as key trading partners. The CCPIT says mutually beneficial cooperation remains a shared consensus and common goal among businesses on both sides. This commitment is also reflected in recent exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and European companies.

WANG WENSHUAI Spokesperson China Council for the Promotion of International Trade "Since the beginning of this year, the CCPIT has invited and received 20 delegations of European institutional and business representatives visiting China. It has also approved around 7,300 Chinese companies to participate in major trade fairs across Europe."
