In order to meet the needs of the government and the industrial and commercial circles accessing and evaluating the information on global IP Protection, CCPIT launched a research on relevant indices. On the basis of sufficient research and thorough discussion, 15 major countries are selected as research objects according to their representativeness in the global economy, trade and investment, their shares in trade with China, geographic location and their IP protection activeness, etc. The news and information on their IP protection are collected and released all year round. On the basis of the research and studies on the foundation, environment, management, international cooperation and performance of IP protection, etc., CCPIT will builds an index system and eventually compile the Reports on Global IP Protection Index.
